The Topeka Country Club was built in 1905 in the state capital of Kansas. This luxury club has been visited by a number of celebrities over the years including President Taft, Bob Hope, Ben Hogan, Jack Nicklaus and Tom Watson.

The club restaurant is said to be haunted by several spirits including a woman dressed in 1930's attire who has been seen in the lobby and locker rooms. A second spirit nicknamed Jimmy is known to turn the lights on and off, turn the music up loud at nights when the club is closed and make a lot of noise particularly on the second floor. A psychic was brought in and identified two spirits of former members named Bob and Doc who apparently visit the bar to play cards from time to time.
